Up for bid is a rare 2 LP set, "Bags' Groove," by Miles Davis and The Modern Jazz Giants. This is a limited, numbered set - pressed at 45 RPM. , released by Blue Note Records (BST 84189) in 1956. Here is some extra info about this LP: "From the famous Fantasy Jazz 45 rpm series. AcousTech Mastering by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, these are the best pressings you will ever hear!" LP 1 is VG++, with a couple of tiny faint scuffs on side A. LP 2 is VG++, with a couple of tiny faint scuffs on side C. LP 2 has a small lip warp that does not affect play. LPs are very clean and retain a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Both LPs are stored in paper sleeve lined with plastic for extra protection. LP plays with minimal surface noise (crackle and tics) and sound OUTSTANDING! Listen to a track from each actual LP, for reference:
Jacket is VG++, with no seam splits. There is very light wear on all corners. There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is a sticker on the back top right corner of the jacket that reads "Top 25 Jazz - 45 RPM Limited Edition # 0893." Includes interior info sheet with no tears or creases. Color on the jacket is still bright. Jacket and interior info sheet retain a nice gloss. This is a beautiful set! Don't miss this rare gem!
