RECORD:  Side 1 VG-  Hairlines, light marks, sleeve marks.  Strong fidelity and volume. Plays excellent with mild background crackle.  Side 2  G     Hairlines, light marks, sleeve marks, more than side 1.  Plays well with consistent audible background crackle.     Hand etched "RVG" in deadwax. Deep groove mono.

NM               Appears unplayed. No marks, scratches or imperfections. We rarely use this. 

VG++           May have low number (1-2) of minor imperfections that don't affect play. Examples: sleeve scuffs or superficial mark/scratch.

VG+             Has a few visible imperfections. Examples:  sleeve scuffs, light scratches or other smudge / marks. 

VG                More imperfections than a VG+, but nothing that will overpower music when played. 

VG-              Several visible imperfections and/or feelable marks. Expect audible surface noise to be present.
