MILES DAVIS: THE COMPLETE BLACKHAWK SESSIONS, Mosaic MQ6-220, 6 heavyweight "Q" LP's with booklet, #0842 of a limited edition of 3000.
This magnificent set from Mosaic contains 29 tracks recorded April 21-22, 1961 at the Blackhawk in San Francisco. The musicians are Miles Davis (trumpet), Hank Mobley (tenor sax), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), JImmy Cobb (drums).
The tunes are Oleo, No Blues, Bye Bye (theme), All of You, Neo, I Thought About You, Bye Bye Blackbird, Walkin', Love I've Found You, If I Were a Bell, Fran Dance, On Green Dolphin Street, The Theme, So What, 'Round Midnight, Well You Needn't, Autumn Leaves, Two Bass Hit, Someday My Prince Will Come, Softly As In a Morning Sunrise. There are two versions of several of the tunes.
Condition of records is E+, no scratches, a couple of spindle marks, all play clean & quiet. There is a 1 inch fingernail scuff on record 2, side B, which is inaudible. The box is very clean - there are no broken corners, no seam splits, no ring wear. Booklet shows some evidence of handling.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
