Miles Davis The Complete Plugged Nickel Sessions: Mosaic MQ10-158
This brilliant collection captures the full performance of Miles Davis and his legendary Second Great Quintet on 10 audiophile quality LP's. The group performed seven sets over two nights at Chicago's Plugged Nickel Club in 1965. Performers, in addition to Miles Davis on trumpet include Wayne Shorter on Tenor, Herbie Hancock on Piano, Ron Carter on Bass, and Tony Williams on drums. The collection was released by Mosaic in 1995 in a limited edition of 5,000 units. This set has never been played, essentially brand new, the twelve page booklet is in pristine condition and has been kept in a high quality vinyl sleeve (same as the LP's), The box is generally in very good condition, except for some scuff marks on one of the sides. I have included a photo of that side.
