A cornerstone of electric jazz, In a Silent Way marks the genesis of Miles Davis’ fusion era and remains one of the most influential records in modern music. Released in 1969 and produced by Teo Macero, this Columbia pressing captures Davis at the helm of an astonishing lineup—Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Tony Williams, Wayne Shorter, John McLaughlin, Joe Zawinul, and Dave Holland—each reshaping the future of jazz in real time.

This particular pressing (PC 9875) appears to be a 1970s reissue based on the Columbia label and jacket design. The vinyl is in beautiful condition, visually a strong VG++ to NM with minimal surface wear. Jacket is glossy and sharp, with just faint ring wear and corner softness—no splits or writing. A truly clean example of a pivotal album.
