Description

Up for bid is this Mono Copy misprint of Miles Davis' legendary jazz masterpiece 'Kind of Blue'...This is the quintessential first pressing of the '59 6-eye Columbia LP...Labels are in pristine shape on both sides with some spindle markings but nothing major..Record itself is in beautiful shape by sight it looks brand new with gorgeous luster and mirror like gloss...I would grade the LP an EX+++ and borderline NM condition...The matrix numbers read side one XLP47324-1D and side two is XLP47324-1AE...Kind of Blue is written in bold texting across one line on labels and it was later changed to multiple lines...The track titles on the labels are centered and were changed to left justified in subsequent presses..The Cover is VG+ with everything intact without seam splits however there is some ringwear on the front.."Cannonball" Adderly on the front and back cover is misspelled which was corrected on later pressings...Also changed was the correct order of tracks B1 and B2 in later pressings...This first edition pressing has Flamenco Sketches listed as the first track and All Blues as the second which is in the incorrect order....This was swapped out in later pressings as well...The audio is superb on this classic album...Please bid with confidence and Good luck to all on this beautiful copy!!!
