33 RPM album on Classic Records Clarity Quiex SV-P II Clear Vinyl (Handmade Super Vinyl Profile II). Test pressing.
Just before Classic Records was sold to Acoustic Sounds, Classic Records was experimenting with their new, Clarity SV-P II “Super Vinyl Profile II”. A very limited run of a few titles have been pressed on this new Clarity Vinyl SV-P II, but these titles have never been commercially available. Shortly before or after the takeover of Classic Records, a few of these test pressings turned up and were sold online by the company who managed the takeover (I forgot the name of the company). I managed to obtain several of these test pressings in 2010 (or 2011).

Condition: Jacket: Near Mint (comes in original Classic Records - opened - outer sleeve with sticker) The LP is in new, unplayed condition, but unfortunately has a sort of vaguely “swirled” pressing line or fault on Side A, which causes a number of repetitive “plops” throughout (most of) track A3 (not too intrusive, but definitely noticeable). According to the Goldmine Standard, I have to grade the LP (only) as Very Good. As his was only available as test pressing, there was no opportunity to swap it for a flawless copy. If it were not for the pressing defect, this would have been the best sounding copy of KOB. The label on Side 2 has light “bubbling”, by the way (please see the pictures).
