Visual condition:
vinyl: Certainly played but well maintained - VG+ condition light lines on both sides certainly nothing deep on the clean shiny playing surface. Black /silver labels show many spindle marks and some light "mould marks" Unique to this label version: - Does have "Side 1" and "Side 2" text not usually seen on 1st ed. - "KIND OF BLUE" appears below spindle hole, instead of above - "33 1/3 r p m", instead of "33 1/3" and different font. - "AA 682 059 1L" / "AA 682 059 2L", instead of "682 059 1L" / "682 059 2L" respectively. - Perimeter text ends with "MADE IN ENGLAND", instead of at "...COPYING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED" so is it 1st or 2nd? or crossover?
cover: Front laminated glossy cover with some significant laminate peeling along front and rear open edge areas (see pic). Unlaminated flip back seams rear cover with seams all intact if a little dirty with age. Overall a stong VG possibly VG+. Interestingly this one does not have some of the usual 1st edition rear cover identifying marks such as "PRODUCT OF PHILIPS" in bottom-left corner on back of sleeve and - "Printed and made in Great Britain" and Howards logo in bottom-right corner on back of sleeve so is it a 1st or 2nd ed?
