Miles Davis Kind of Blue CL 1355 6 Eye Mono
Vinyl: I have to grade this record as a VG playgraded even though it plays NM in many areas, there is background noise in other parts due to some hairline scratches. A VPI would probably do this LP wonders although it looks very clean. The music sounds magnificent on this LP, however there is some background noise on the beginning of side 1 that downgrades it to a VG. On side 2 there is static for the first 1 cm of grooves although I can't figure out what is causing it. The back end of side 1 is simply amazing. Bill Evans sounds as if he is playing right in front of you. Paul Chamber's bass is super deep and realistic and of course Miles Davis is the icing on the cake. If someone was to visually grade the vinyl, then it would be a nice VG+ with just hairline scratches.
Cover: VG+, one of the nicest Kind of Blue original covers that I have personally seen. There is very little wear to the ink and the seams just have a touch of wear, but nothing near a split. The spine would look amazing on any shelf! See last photo.
