Miles Davis was an American trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He was among the most influential figures in the history of jazz. "Kind of Blue" you will hear something close to pure sponanemity in these performances. The group had never played these pieces prior to the recordings. It was recorded in 1959 in New York City. It ranked #12 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of, 'The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time'. It is one of the all-time monumental classics. Few recordings maintain their power to last for decades.
