Description

Miles Davis – Kind of Blue

Original U.S. Columbia stereo LP, catalog CS 8163, featuring the highly collectible early 6-Eye Columbia label.

Matrix / Runout:

* Side A: XSM47326-1BC

* Side B: XSM47327-1BG

This copy has several characteristics associated with the early 1959 stereo issue, including the 6-Eye Columbia label and the well-known jacket printing/misprint characteristics, including the “Adderly” spelling.

Vinyl: Visually approximately VG+ with some light surface marks/scuffs. Playback has not been fully verified, so please examine all photographs and consider the visual grade before purchasing.

Jacket: Significant vintage wear, discoloration, scuffing and edge/corner wear consistent with its age. Please see photographs carefully. The jacket also retains the original period artwork and early printing characteristics.

Side A has an old ownership sticker reading “This Record Belongs To: Albin Barthold.”

This is a desirable early stereo pressing of one of the most important jazz albums ever recorded.

Please review all photographs carefully. The actual record and jacket shown are the items you will receive.
