Description

Artist: Miles Davis - Kind of Blue


CBS BPG 62066 - Monaural - 1960 - Original UK pressing.

Recorded in the USA by CBS Records, a Division of Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc.

 

Cover: VG+.  Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending. Flipback cover.  All three flipback tabs are firmly in place and not damaged.  The glossy lamination shows "shelf wear" and is beginning to lift at the few creases. The opening is good and straight with a little handling wear.  The back cover shows aging and a couple of small, light stains.  There is evidence of ring-wear throughout.  There is no writing anywhere. The spine is perfect and the text is legible.  There are no seam splits.  Each corner is bumped a little.

 

Inner sleeve: new. Non-original poly inner sleeve.

 

Record: VG++. Small, superficial scuffs on each side that do not affect play.  There are no skips or jumps.  The record surface is very clean and free of fingerprints.

Matrices:  Side one: 62066-1A-1; side two: 62066-1B-1.

 

Labels: VG++.  Shows little evidence of spindle wear on each side.  No writing anywhere on the labels.

Text at perimeter of label starts: "All rights of the Manufacturer and the owner..."

 

Side One: So What (Davis); Freddie Freeloader (Davis); Blue in Green (Davis).

Side Two: All Blues (Davis); Flamenco Sketches (Davis).
