I'll give you my sob story and perhaps i'll get a little empathy or amusement. I'm a music lover and not a rich guy. I wanted a copy of Kind of Blue that could accompany me to my grave. After doing research, I settled on this. I bought this new last year for about $120 including shipping. I was so excited. I waited months for the perfect time to open and play it. Lo and behold, I noticed a little imperfection in the pressing that plays but causes about 5 ticks 1/2 way through Freddie the Freeloader. I was expecting perfection!. Isn't that what Mobile Fidelity does? I had it too long to return it. I've been spending a lot of time on ebay lately. buying and selling vinyl and I happened to notice another new Kind of Blue MoFi auction. This was my opportunity to feel good again. I bid aggressively and won (same price: $120 in total). I just received it yesterday. It must be another addition because the design is a bit different but it sounds fine. So, i'm selling my copy and hopefully someone who is willing to put up with a few ticks will get a great product at a more affordable price. It really does sound wonderful.
So, last night was my 3rd time to play this copy up for auction. I also noticed one tick at the beginning of So What? . I didn't remember that before. I don't have a good cleaner, so perhaps it's time for me to invest in one along with a good Vinyl therapist.
I think I won't allow offers because I'm curious to see what the value of this is on the ebay market
Usually I ship USPS Media. because it's cheaper.. I paid $17 for shipping on the new product I just received. It came quickly but if you are willing to wait, you'll only pay $5.
