Description
This is a 1972 pressing of Miles Davis’ ‘Live-Evil’ from 1971, a mixture of both studio and live work; with excerpts from his 70’ concert at ‘The Cellar Door’.
Various famous jazz musicians played on this album including Keith Jarrett, Jack DeJohnette and John McLaughlin (who was not a member of his band at the time, but was called in last minute due to Miles ‘…looking for an element he hadn’t quite nailed down…’
Originally intended as the spiritual successor of ‘Bitches Brew’, this was abandoned after it became clear ‘Live-Evil’ was something completely different.
This particular copy is a UK 1972 pressing graded VG+ with a few minor scrapes and scratches to the vinyl and sleeve (none of which were feel-able with a finger of worthy of an individual picture). Includes original inners, interior with Davis’ pictures is immaculate.
Both the cover and vinyl are still very glossy, as a result apologies for any reflections in the pictures above (I always used very bright lighting for listing transparency).
