Thanks for looking. Controversial Cover on this early version of this LP.
From Discogs Miles reportedly was unhappy about the album's original cover, which featured a photograph of a young white woman and child aboard a sailboat. He made his displeasure known to Columbia executive George Avakian, asking, "Why'd you put that white bitch on there?" Avakian later stated that the question was made in jest. For later releases of the record, however, the original cover-photo has been substituted by a photograph of Miles Davis.
The vinyl is rated VG++. So so close to being NM-, only imperfection I noted are marks near the spindle hold side 1. See Photo. the record is Columbia 6 eye deep groove mono record. First pressing trail off - 1 D and 1G. Sleeve is rated VG as there are minor rub marks on front and back of the cover, plus price written upper left rear corner. Plastic Inner sleeve.
