Description

Miles Davis: Milestones (1958).
Great album of Miles Davis 1st great sextet with superstar line up including Cannonball Adderley on alto, John Coltrane on tenor, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on double bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums. 1st and great steps in modal jazz (on title track).

Columbia CL 1193, MONO. Original issue, six-eye label with deep groove.

VINYL IN VG++ CONDITION, JUST A FEW MARKS. SOUNDS PERFECT, SUPERLIGHT SURFACE NOISE IN PLACES

SLEEVE IN VG++, VERY MINOR RINGWEAR, CONSIDERABLE SPINE RUBWEAR, BUT NOT SO SERIOUS. ELSE IS COOL AND NO SPLITS AND WRITING

NM (= M-): Near Mint: album has been played with no visible signs of wear or damage.

VG++ (= EX): Still very shiny, album has light signs of wear: a couple of inaudible light scuffs and/or light scratches.
VG+ : Some more wear, light scratches and/or scuffs: album plays with minimal surfacenoise = occasional light crackle, but still very enjoyable.
VG : Scratches and scuffs. Album plays with some more surfacenoise (light crackle and/or or occasional pops, but no skipped or repeat grooves).
G : Moderate, even wear throughout, still playable but with quite some surfacenoise (I rarely list records with this grade, except when they are very collectable
