Description
This is Prestige Records 7150, Miles Davis And The Modern Jazz Giants, a yellow deep groove, Bergenfield NJ label, original mono issue, of this classic session with RVG stamped in the dead wax and featuring Thelonious Monk, Milt Jackson and on one tune John Coltrane. The record looks in VG condition but plays VG+ showing many marks on both sides but still playing quietly except for some initial background crackle at the beginning of side 1. The cover has a 3" split on the top seam and a 2" split on the spine but is otherwise intact. The labels show some spindle marks.The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This would make an excellent initial "play" copy of this rare original issue.
