Description

This is an excellent copy of the 1972 Miles Davis ‘On the Corner’ . It is a Stereo 1st UK Pressing CBS 65246. It is one of the records I have inherited from my late husband. It has been stored since 1990 and I have just played it once to check for damage. The bifold sleeve is in almost mint condition. It is by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd  The spine is good with only slight damage to some of the writing. The corners are slightly bumped (see photos) but really are great. The edges are perfect There are no ring marks on the front, just a slight one on the reverse, no wrinkles. The inside of the bifold is perfect, clean, no discolouration. The printed inner sleeve is in perfect condition just the slightest discolouration due to age.  The vinyl is brilliant, bright and shiny and great. There are two small hairline, surface scratches on side one but they do not affect the sound which is great. There are no lumps or bumps, no clicks or slurs. It plays perfectly even though I have not cleaned it. I don’t want to damage it and as I’m not a professional I would rather leave that to the new owner.  The matrix are stamped side one S65246 A1 and Side two S65246 B1 there are no spindle marks on the labels which are perfect both sides. I am not a professional seller so please look at the photos and read my description for accurate information about this LP.  This is a brilliant copy of this Jazz classic and very, very desirable.
