Miles Davis - Miles Davis Plays
(Esquire 20-017 UK 10" LP 1953)
This is a 1953 UK original 10" LP pressing. It has a card matt sleeve which has red binding/ tape around three edges. It has an envelope style fold-over flap at the sleeve opening. This is how early UK Esquire 10" LP's originally came. It comes with its original polythene company inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has textured Esquire "Microgroove" labels. It has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers.
Miles is backed by Sonny Rollins, Walter Bishop, Tommy Potter & Art Blakey.
A very rare early UK Miles Davis 10" LP.
Sleeve: The original record shop price (20/-) has been written in small writing on the front. There is some mild fading & ringwear too. VG condition.
Vinyl: There are some mild to moderate sleeve rubs & a few light hairline marks. The sleeve has left some marks on the vinyl also. Good+ condition. The labels are clean & show moderate spindle wear. Plays Good++ VG overall. It does not jump. There is some mild or moderate crackle in the background.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
