Description
Miles Davis - Quiet Nights, a 1964 Stereo release on the orange CBS One Eye label, no. SBPG 62213. Arranged & conducted by Gil Evans, this is a smooth and beautiful bossa nova sound.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl has retained a lovely sheen with only faint trace lines and one or two very light scuffs on Side 2. Clean labels and spindle holes show this has been played very lightly. Graded EX.
Playback reveals a warm & mellow sound, open and detailed. The vinyl plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking, very occasional light background noise/crackle, but overall a really enjoyable listen.
The outer sleeve is really clean & solid with no splits, writing, stains or tape. Lovely readable spine. There is wear to the bottom corners ( see photos) and light age discolouration but overall really good condition for the age.
The original poly lined inner sleeve is present, somewhat discoloured, but still doing a great job.
A lovely copy to own, play and enjoy.
