Number #3237 of 5000 copies worldwide


Recorded on May 11, 1956 and October 23, 1956 by Rudy Van Gelder

Featuring John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and “Philly” Joe Jones.


Mastered from the original analog mono master tapes by Bernie Grundman, lacquer cut by Bernie Grundman. Pressed at RTI on 180g vinyl using Neotech’s VR900 vinyl compound and a one-step lacquer process.


Limited edition of 5,000 copies. Individually numbered and encased in a foil-stamped, linen-wrapped slipcase featuring an acrylic inset of the original artwork. The vinyl disc, extractable through a frictionless ribbon pull tab, is housed in a reproduction of the album’s original tip-on jacket and protected by an archival-quality, anti-static, non-scratching inner sleeve.
