Description: Miles Davis Quintet, 'Round About Midnight, Columbia CL 949
This is a mono pressing, presumed first pressing of this 1957 release. "Six Eye" Columbia red and black label.
Condition: Sleeve has light to moderate rubbing to both sides, 2" split along top edge at open side, area of damage to back along top of spine. Plastic inner bag, which is, as usual, in sad shape.
Disc: Light background crackling throughout on both sides, some pops at the beginning of "Ah-Leu-Cha" which clear up quickly.
A note on these Jazz records I'm listing: I'm not sure where or how they were stored, but the disc themselves were extremely dirty when they came to me (weirdly, the sleeves were not). I've given them a light cleaning before playing, but I suspect they would improve with a deeper cleaning, especially if you have a disc washer. I'm grading what I hear, but I suspect they can be improved.
