Miles Davis [with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Philly Joe Jones, Paul Chambers] ROUND ABOUT MIDNIGHT.  Columbia CL 949.  Original Mono release.  6-eye mono label.  Disc is visually NM: looks like a couple of organic bits have been removed, leaving visible traces. (play:  A side VG++; B side is actually M-, with no audible imperfections.).  Original CBS catalog color inner sleeve has 2 corner creases.  Jacket is about as good as I’ve ever seen for this item.

 

Here’s the first of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
