Description

Miles Davis Round About Midnight (his first ever Columbia LP from 1956) Columbia CL 949 MONO deep groove 6 eye original pressing with Red Garland, Philly Joe Joines, John Coltrane and Paul Chambers. LP has a few very light hair marks most likely from prior usage but is VG (strong) and close to VG+. Cover i VG+ and this is the first ever Columbia release by Miles, who had to make 4 LP's for Prestige the night before (Steamin', Walkin, Cookin' and Relaxin') so he could start his Columbia association. See all the photos above. Strong VG LP condition VG+ cover. Original mono, 6 eye deep groove pressing. Just so I do not ger repeatedly asked, the matrix number for this LP is: XIP 39109-1A
