Description

Up for auction is a rare Classic Records year 1998 reissue of the 1960 jazz classic Miles Davis 'Sketches of Spain' on four single-sided 45 RPM 12" vinyl 180g stereo LP's. All analog remastering by legendary engineer Bernie Grundman - Bernie's remastering and lacquers while working for Classic have been purchased and gradually released as highly rated releases by Analogue Productions (for example the Miles Davis Kind of Blue UHQR uses the Bernie Classic Records plates). Although not explicitly stated in the discogs entry for this particular release, other titles in the Classic Records 45 single sided series released around this time were issued in a limited run of 500 only. 
Condition is sealed in original shrink and hype sticker, with vinyl presumed mint. I purchased this new when it came out in 1998 and have stored it in a dry, smoke free environment for over 20 years. Condition of the covers (the four individual covers of these Classic Records 4x12 reissues are bundled together) and corners are all in great shape, with no seam splits, and just one tiny bump of the cover on one side, please see pics for detail.
