Classic jazz at its best!
Original Prestige pressing on heavy wax. Label and sleeve show 447 W. 50th St, NYC address.
Catalog # 7012.
"RVG" (initials of legendary engineer Rudy Van Gelder) stamped in dead wax on both sides.
Vinyl is in VG condition visually. As is common with many of these old Prestige records, there are quite a few scratches and scuffs. Most are surface only, but a few can be felt. We play tested this one, since these old pressings on such heavy wax often play much better than they would appear to. There is some surface noise, noticeable on quiet passages, but not distracting from the music. No skips. Wax is very clean. Label is in excellent shape. A very enjoyable listen.
Sleeve is in strong VG+ condition. There is light shelf wear...including rubs at the upper left corner. Cover retains most of its original gloss. No splits, tears or writing.
