Description

This is Prestige Records PRLP 7200, Miles Davis Quintet Steamin', a yellow, Bergenfield NJ, deep groove original mono issue,with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition, showing  only light marks which do not effect the play. There is just a hint of background rumble on the last track (the quiet When I Fall In Love) but otherwise the record plays quietly throughout. The laminated cover has a bit of edge wear and a name in pen on the back but is otherwise excellent. The labels are excellent as well with only light spindle marks. An original Prestige thumbnail inner sleeve is included as well as an original Prestige Records postcard solicitation for their catalog. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this classic original issue. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  This is part of a large jazz collection I will be posting over the next few months.
