I'am am offering here an original 10" copy of Miles Davis Quartet, BLP 5040 with Deep Groove on both sides and "Ear" in the dead wax. (This LP predates Vangelder). (In any case, it is a strong VG+)It generally plays quietly with no groove distortion and sounds terrific overall. The jacket shows very little Age, No Splits except one tiny inch of sleeve, very flat and sturdy very little markings of any kind.

Visually it looks beautiful, Super high Gloss and very few light scruffs, but what do you expect for the age. This is as good as it gets the fact is, if it weren't for a few  minor "glitches" I would (play) grade it NM or at least VG++. (In any case, it is a strong VG+)It generally plays quietly with no groove distortion and sounds terrific overall. The jacket shows very little age but has only moderate shelf wear and no significant damage. I have added a acid free paper inner sleeve - most of these oldies had no inner sleeves. To me, this is Miles.

I've been collecting for along time, everyone's grading's differs, they say NM- VG++ This or that but never show the Record close up or even a Macro shot of the grooves, here you can see what your getting...one that sold 8 months ago was the last I have seen on Ebay or anywhere in Quite some time, it went for 750.00 and if it were NM vinyl which is almost impossible in 2010 all though there are some, it would go for at least 1300.00 due to the rarity. If your going to play this make sure it's on a professional Player, with a clean needle, and a strong arm with weight. If your going to play a piece of art, don't play it on a Piece of well...you know.... Never leave negative feedback, all things can be worked out without ruining good ebay standings.. I would love to do returns, but i did it once and my 10 inch came back well let's say not in the same condition, so I lost... This i also Basically a Piece of Art, not a

I don't clean them for I wouldn't want to degrade anything on the record, but if your a die hard, there is great solution at sleeve city...Never use Alcohol on 10 inch Records!
