Description
Welcome to my Music Store !
This Auction listing is for a stunning album from 1974 by Millie Jackson
The Album is called: Caught Up
Catalogue Number 2391 147 Super
Label Polydor (UK)
A Spring USA Recording
This Album is from 1974 and you can see the full track listing in my photos.
To give you a little bit of a background to the Album, this was a concept album at the time, and it was the story of loving and being in a relationship with a married man, and all the trials and heartaches associated with that.
This Album was huge in the 1970s.
Millie Jackson is just totally superb on this album, and the passion and feeling is conveyed in each and every song.
If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Right, is of course a Classic Deep Soul Song.
Millie does huge justice to her version of Bobby Goldsboro's Summer (The First Time)
It is without doubt a magnificent Album and I was so delighted to hear it again after so many years.
This vinyl record is in beautiful condition. I am going to grade it as Near Mint, which I do not do often It played perfectly upon checking it and it looks clean and fantastic
The outer sleeve I would grade as Near Excellent Minus, as there is an area by the title spine edge on the front, where the laminate has lifted and it feels a little crinkly
Apart from this, the sleeve is fine with the usual acceptable wear with a few creases.
I would think this is a very hard to find Vinyl LP now in this superb condition.
There were several same - themed concept albums at the same time, but this one was the very best of them all.
Please do note that you are bidding on a VINYL RECORD / LP
Please ask any questions you might have before bidding / buying
