Great, Classic, Gospel Bluegrass Import record from Sun and it's autographed by both Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash! The Million Dollar Quartet is the Lp by Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash. It came out in 1981. I'm starting it at a low minimum bid and no reserve. The cover is NM, with no cut-out marks, stickers or split seams. It does have writing on the front, but that is in the form of autographs from both Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash. Do I have a COA? No, because real life doesn't have certificates of authenticity. I worked in radio for 30 years so I occasionally had backstage access. I only saw Carl Perkins once and that was in August of 1983 at a venue called Sandyland Park in Nashville, Michigan, which is where I got him to sign it. Jerry Lee was actually on the bill of this show, but he canceled at the last minute because his wife drowned in their pool that week. If it weren't for that, this record would probably have 3 signatures. I was backstage with Cash on 6 different occasions, so I can't be certain which time I had him sign this. It was more than likely in 1985 or '86. Both signatures were done with a black Sharpie. The vinyl is NM. I really don't see a mark on it. It is a U.K. release on Sun Records SUN 1006 (I think Charly Records may have had something to do with this release). Don't miss out on this great record that you don't see very often!
