Excellent copy of the hard to find Nathan Milstein 3 LP box set performing on unaccompanied violin “The Six Bach Partitas and Sonatas” (Capitol PCR 8370, monaural, rainbow label with Capitol logo on top).
Included is a booklet with details of the composer, each piece and the performer.
All three glossy LPs play beautifully. There are a couple of light sleeve scuffs and other superficial marks that play through as if they were not there. There is one scratch on side 3, track 1 and a few grooves on track 2 that is lightly audible (light ticks) but not at all overwhelming. Otherwise, I would rate the vinyl as near mint with crisp and clear sound. The box and insert are near mint.
