Description
Milt Jackson with the Thelonious Monk Quintet. Featuring John Lewis, Perey Health, Kenny Clarke, Lou Donaldson.
On the Blue Note Record Label number 1509.
Pressed with Lexington address labels on both sides. Deep groove with the flat edge as well as the cursive "p" or ear mark in the matrix guarantees its an early first press!
Record is in great shape and plays with very minimal background noise. Vinyl shows very light scuffing from taking it in and out of the jacket as well as two other distinguishing marks that's I've included pictures of.
The fist being a small smudge that produces a small pop when the needle hits it. (Aprox. 30 seconds of 1 track) and an aprox. 2 1/2 in. Scratch that I can't hear on playback. Pictures have been included of both.
A good cleaning could prolly fix the smudge, I just didn't want to risk hurting it.
Jacket vg+ with only minor wear. 4 sharp corners and excellent color on front an back. Includes Lexington address on back.
