"Wizard of the Vibes" is a Blue Note Records Japan compilation of performances by jazz vibraphonist Milt Jackson. The sessions were the work of The Thelonious Monk Quintet (the July 2, 1948 and July 23, 1951 sessions) and The Modern Jazz Quartet plus Lou Donaldson (a 1952 session).
Part of the famed Blue Note Original 5000 Series Collection from Blue Note Japan - Toshiba-EMI. 1991 Original Pressing. Cover is in Excellent+ Condition - showing the very slightest of shelf wear... Insert and LP are in NM Condition. With OBI... Call it NM/Mint-. This was not played often. Part of a collection I acquired that saw very little - if any - play. Amazing shape for being 33 years old...
