Description

Live recording of a "Rock 'n' Roll revue"/Battle of the Bands style contest held at the Milwaukee Auditorium on Dec. 30, 1965. Twelve finalist bands are featured, divided into Class A(13-16 years old) and Class B(17 to 19). Some legendary Wisconsin bands on the roster here: Rogues, Coachmen, Ethics. Recording quality isn't the best but actually accentuates the punky attitude in my opinion. I've heard 500 copies pressed but can't verify.


Sleeve is EX in open shrink


Playgrade: Side I has about an inch-long scuff that looks spooky but is mostly cosmetic. I detected about 2-3 low tics leading into "The Radicals" but subsides before the music starts. No other blemishes on that side to speak of, plays VG+ otherwise


Side II: Looks/plays VG+


OVERALL PLAYGRADE: I'll grade it a conservative VG because of the scuff, but truly a nice copy.
