ARTIST / TITLE : ILHAN MIMAROGLU "TRACT"

CONDITION (Record/Cover) : VG+/EX
COMMENT : Mega rare original first pressing of this amazing LP by Ilhan Mimaroglu, featuring the singing and speaking voice of Tuly Sand, and the Pop Group Topsy Turvy Moon. Psychedelic concrete collages composed in 1972-74 in studios of New York and Paris, featuring messed up agitprop music with vocal treatments and effects. A pretty incredible mix of jazz singing, poetry, political speeches, pop and electronics. As you would expect from Mimaroglu, the electronic tricks are very innovative and the backing music provided by the the band Topsy Turvy Moon is just delightful, with some way out there, blunt and primitive synth sounds... Tons of sample-ready material here and some psyched-out funked up moments. Essential for avant/experimental/electronic music collectors, as well as for people who need weird/spacy stuffs for sampling.
The vinyl is clean, it presents a few marks, superficial scuffs, it plays and sounds well, you can judge by yourself with the audio sample which is recorded from the actual record on offer ; the cover has a drill hole on the upper right corner, otherwise it is in near mint condition.

VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ringwear...
VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...
VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
