Description

Charlie Mingus: The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady - first U.K. mono pressing released on the H.M.V. label, (cat no CLP 1694) in 1964. I grade all my records as per the strict guidelines used by the Record Collector magazine and have graded the record as follows: Vinyl retains a lovely shine with side B extremely clean with no visible faults, Side A has a few visible marks but these are non-sounding and playback is superb on both sides. The labels are in nice condition but with some finger marks evident. The outer sleeve, (laminated front), exhibits no serious faults but exhibits a little ring wear, slight edge & corner wear and very light creasing. The laminate has begun to wear off in one area of the lower edge. The upper left corner on the rear sleeve has a price neatly written on in pencil. The records has a generic white inner sleeve that may or may not be original.
This is a very nice copy of a fantastic and very rare record.
