Description

Here for auction is an extremely clean copy of Minimal Man’s debut album, released on the legendary Subterranean label from San Francisco, where it was purchased new in 1981 by singer/author Julian Cope. Since then, the item was been kept safe and clean in a thick, clean polythene sleeve. The outer cover remains much as when it left the record store – no dirt or weathering of any kind, the jacket corners still crisp as when new. When examined in the bright light, some very minor micro-record ringwear can be seen at the bottom of the front cover. The two accompanying inner sleeves also remain extremely clean, as does the record itself.

 

Both sides of the record have been played through, and Side One exhibited no problems save for some very minor surface noise here and there. On Side Two, there are occasional pops on tracks 2, 3 and 5.
