Featured in this auction is a mono sealed copy of Bob Dylan's masterpiece "Blonde On Blonde". A friend of mine who owned a record shop specializing in vintage pop/rock albums and singles for 25+ years told me that this was most likely a "record club" issue, thus it does not have cellophane shrink wrap on the cover, but rather the plastic bag inner sleeves, that were sealed, and had a perforated edge to open easily and that this was common practice of the record clubs back in the sixties. This is the more rare version of the cover, with out the "girl" photo. Columbia # C2L41. Both records are still sealed in their plastic bag inner sleeves (see photos). One bag has a perforation that has separated slightly, maybe an inch or so, but the record is still mint. I have owned this album for nearly 25 years and have always kept it in a plastic storage sleeve. The cover while not mint, is certainly in excellent condition for being a half century old. Since the record was never played, it obviously was not handled too much. The corners are still sharp, and I can see one very small abrasion on the front; a very tiny white mark about where Mr. Zimmerman's left shoulder is. Records of this type in this condition are very few and far between, so do not miss this opportunity to own a real rarity!
