Mint 1985 Reissue of Beatles John Lennon Two Virgin LP. This record was opened by owner so the exact nature of the origin could be determined. This LP and controversial cover were issued in 1985 reportedly by the company which purchased the rights to all Tetragrammaton Record Company material. Tetragrammaton Record Company was hired to distribute Two Virgins when EMI, the Beatles record label, refused to distribute this record due to the controversial nature of the cover photos showing John Lennon and Yoko Ono naked. The cover photos are of equal quality to the original. The brown paper sleeve is shorter by 3/4 inch to the original. Disc label is good and the quality of the sound is reportedly equal to the original although this record, Apple/Tetragrammaton # T-5001, has never been played. Enjoy owning a piece of Beatles collectible history. I carefully have researched this record and I'm confident of my description. Also, Prior to 1988, ALL color vinyl copies of this record were counterfeit. This record is clean Black Vinyl. Thanks and look at my other Beatle Babies listed @ Tpost04.
