Description
Every effort was made to identify this record. I believe it is an authentic, unopened original release in phenomenal condition. Both front and back covers are printed in stunning color with vibrant tones and pressed onto heavy cardboard stock. There are no signs of ring wear and the edges are nicely squared. With the exception of slight pull back on the bottom right, the shrink wrap is excellent condition with two breathe holes on the bottom front.
Printed identifying marks include: front cover bottom right a copyright mark followed by “1967 NEMS ENTERPRISES LTD.”. Printed on the spine is “Stereo Magical Mystery Tour•The Beatles” and “Capitol 2835”. The Capitol logo is the dome logo used in 1967 then discontinued in 1968. Printed in white ink on the back cover top right is “SMAL 2835” with no dash and “Manufactured by Capitol Records, INC., Hollywood and Vine Streets, Hollywood, CALIF. Factories: Scranton, Pa., Los Angeles, CALIF., Jacksonville, ILL.” on the bottom left. Also indicative of an original release is the weight of this album. It is heavy.
