Description
Up for auction this week is a rare, mint pressing of RCA EPA-4041, "Just For You" EP by Elvis Presley.
This EP features stunning cover art, and both the cardboard picture sleeve and the vinyl are mint mint mint. This vinyl honestly looks like it never has been played. (And since it came from my uncle's collection, who worked for an RCA distributor in Knoxville, Tennessee, it probably never WAS played -- he didn't like Elvis!) I actually hated to pull it from the sleeve to scan it.
This EP includes (Side 1) "I Need You So" and "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" and (Side 2) "Blueberry Hill" and "Is It So Strange."
If you check my feedback you'll note that the buyers of my other rare Elvis EPs, singles and plug promos have been extremely happy with their purchases. You will be too -- I saved the best three 45s (in my opinion, from at least a graphic appeal and dollar-value standpoint) for last.
Osborne 16th Ed. Price Guide (2002, the last edition I bought) lists the book value for this item -- black label, dog on top, song titles across the top back of the cardboard sleeve -- at $100-$125, making my opening bid and no reserve auction practically crazy.
