Description of sound quality of recording: stunning sound quality! There are sections that are very dynamic and, therefore, incredibly demanding of your playback system, exquisite sonics. Original first pressing circa 1981. Pressed in Germany w/ Libretto (lyric) insert included...original inner sleeves...cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Wet Vacuum LP Cleaner.
VINYL CONDITION : MINT!! (Double LP set)
Note : The vinyl Is glossy and only played once or twice on audiphile turntable, no flaws (i.e. no scratches, no scuffs, no hairlines, no finger prints...perfect)...couple spindle traces on label showing no more than 2 plays.
JACKET CONDITION: VG++ (Gatefold)
Note : Slightest wear at edges and corners but no wing wear, light creases on bottom corners, no seam splits (autographed by Robert Shaw on back of jacket...likely at an ASO performance)...Libretto is near mint.
MY GRADING SYSTEM
I visually grade my LPs very strictly utilizing a 100 watt bulb.
Please be reminded that some LPs, regardless of condition, will have occasional tiny ticks that were there when pressed.

VINYL GRADING
Sealed: factory sealed
Mint: glossy, appears unplayed, no marks of any kind
Near Mint: glossy, no scratches, played a few times
VG++: not quite near mint, an inaudible light mark/hairline scratch
VG+: light marks/hairline scratches that may be audible during quiet passages
VG: numerous light scratches/scuffs, no skips, light surface noise in quiet passages
G+: still more scratches/scuffs, still won't skip, surface noise/pops/clicks throughout
JACKET GRADING
Sealed: factory sealed
Mint: perfect with sharp corners, likely in shrink-wrap but no longer sealed
Near Mint: clean with a minute imperfection, no longer in shrink-wrap
VG++: 1 or 2 minor flaws, slight corner wear or ring wear
VG+: several minor flaws, corner/ring wear, sticker, small hand writing, corner cut, split
VG: moderate flaws/wear, large hand writing, noticeable print, seam splits 3-5 inch
G+: large flaws/wear, tear/stain, larger hand writing, complete seam split
