WELCOME! I Work in a record store in Austin, Texas and I am going to be selling off some of my collection, I am starting off small, but I do have all positive feedback for records and other items, including some pricey heavy hitters and no complaints thus far thankfully. This week I'm offering a lot of RARE and OBSCURE records from all sorts of genres, mostly private press stuff, like boogie funk psych soul folk xian weird etc..

For auction is: Mint - The mint / Skywalking 12" . Exceptional Quality Records, EQ - 142 Promo Only. Production by LD Montgomery . Approx 1982-84. Original.
Killer and quite under the radar Boogie and Modern Soul 2 sider from the Exceptional Quality label, circa 1983. Both sides kill on the dancefloor but the incredibly awesome Skywalking is the standout track for me. This band, Mint, has 2 other releases, one from the late 80s that isn't very good or rare, called perfect guy, and another that was released in 1986 that is pretty good but is more common. This is by far the best and most rare MINT record and needs to be played badly, everyone I have ever played this for goes bananas! Zero search results other than my blog entry from what I can find.

Vinyl: VG++ ( Nice copy, still glossy, hasn't been played much, only has a few light paper scuffs and a few hairline scratch that dont affect play. Sounds really superb, only a few crackles that are standard with small press records. ) ^Listen to Sound Clip
Jacket/Label: VG++ (Comes in original generic black jacket, and the label is very nice, just a couple spindle marks.)

I try to Grade conservatively because everyone has different standards.
I use Gold Mine standard grading in ascending order of quality G, G+, VG-, VG, VG+, VG++, EX(+/-), NM (I almost never give a used record this), and SS (or sealed unplayed).
