This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

VG. Has a lovely dull sheen. With only a light marks to the vinyl, on both sides.
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN
I have just finished listening to the whole album and found a wonderfully rich sound reproduction to the album, with VERY LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE! Even the run-ins were pretty quite...
!!!TURN THIS BABY UP LOUD!!! (I did)
The very light and occasional background noise, in the very quiet sections, would be reduced with a gentle professional clean-just to get rid of the dust...The audio reproduction really is lovely.

Labels: VG+. Only a few very light spindle marks, evident only when angled to the light, with a tiny amount of hole wear to  side 1.

There is a small name in black biro to both sides...hard to spot.
SIDE 1 HAS THE EXTRA DOT: "SOLD IN.U.K." central statement-not many of these around.

Inner Sleeve: EX. It is a replacement 2 windowed period inner.
....Certainly done her job in keeping this record in great condition.

Cut-Outs: Yep, they are present-but not all of them ;) Somebody has cut most of the bottom section out...BUT Sgt Pepper is still there!!

The Cover: VG.
This is an unusual cover, with a strange phenomena I have never seen before:
The top has been factory mis-aligned and has a yellow line coming from the inside gatefold. The inside gatefold has a small line to the bottom, coming from the front gatefold...Never seen this before..
The front cover is still in a solid condition, as is the back cover and the inner picture-STILL BRIGHT! There is rather a lot of wear and rubbing to the spine (not all the way through), with some light dings to two of the corners-at the top and bottom of the spine.
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES FOR YOURSELVES-I AM NOT HIDING ANYTHING AND YOU GET WHAT YOU SEE...
There are a few small crescents and lines of spidering to the front laminate, with more to the back gatefold..but still solid.
 I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible.
