Mischa Elman Beethoven Violin Concerto Solti UK Decca O/G ED1 LXT 5068 Rare LP
Virtuoso Violinist Mischa Elman, Audiophile Rare UK 1st press, on the Decca Orange and Gold Label LXT 5068 (NO STEREO ISSUE EXISTS)
Visually under bright light, the vinyl has a number of light play and scuff traces, there is some residue traces. There is a tiny pressing flaw bubble to side 2. The record has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine, and plays bright crisp and clear with lovely rich warm tone, as is expected from a top quality early Decca recording – a very enjoyable audio experience. There is fairly regular light surface noise in places. There are a number of passages of repeating clicks here and there. There is a pressing dimple to side 2 which causes approximately 30 seconds of soft repeating clicks. May benefit from further cleaning. Overall Audio: VG/VG+
Labels are clean, EX
The laminated sleeve is a nice clean example, has a little damage to the rear top flip-back VG+
