Description
Up for offer is the very collectable, ORIGINAL 1981 pressing of the '3 Hits From Hell' Ep from the Misfits (Plan 9 PL1013). It seems that the pressing history and details of this EP are the most confusing of all Misfits releases, as all known pressing records are incomplete or incorrect. Estimates of number pressed with the Grey label range from 3000 to 7000, but this is conclusively the earliest pressing. This is rare in any condition and this one is a respectable copy.
Please read the description carefully and look at the picture before bidding.
CONDITION (I use the Goldmine Standard for grading and try to be conservative so not to disappoint): Vinyl: VG/VG- Cover: VG-
The vinyl is in VG/VG- condition. The record suffers from light surfaces scratches on both sides and also from some slight groove wear. The result is moderate surface noise on the intro/extro of the songs, but aside from 2 ticks on Side b, this does not generally overpower the music. The label is extremely clean and is virtually free of marks The cover is VG-. As is always an issue with black covers, there are some moderate signs of use/storage wear. Despite this the cover maintains much of it's original gloss. On the front there is slight ring wear and a crease/bend in the top right. There is also some creasing on the mid-bottom section and a small scratch on the orange in the middle of the section. On the back there is a crease on the top left, over the word London and a crease in the top right. There is also slight staining under the eye. There is virtually no fraying along the opening.
