Description
SHIPS FREE SAME DAY. New still sealed (sticker on shrink wrap NOT sleeve) rare pressing of the alternate takes of the Misfits’ Walk Among Us. These are summer ‘81 16-track tape sessions from New Found Sound and Mix-O-Lydian Studio featuring significantly different sounding takes / mixes than what appeared on the debut LP. Tempos are generally slower than the final versions with more guitar feedback and stripped down drumming. New endings, different vocals and instrumentation appear throughout. (Ex: 20 Eyes different guitar rhythms and vox, Astro Zombies added backing vocals, Devils Whorehouse and Martian have new backups pushed higher and lead vocals respectively). I love these slower versions which have more of a garage rock / Static Age feel.
