Misfits Teenagers From Mars 7" incl. 48 pages lyric book ULRA RARE

	£ 53
	$		70

MISFITS – TEENAGERS FROM MARS 7“ vinyl single (fan club),including

48 pages lyric book 55 HITS FROM HELL.

Up for auction is a fan club edition of the legendary

Misfits – 7“ „Teenagers From Mars / Static Age“, including a really cool lyric book with all lyrics from Danzig era. You all know the story about this legendary 7“ (please read the text below, copied from MISFITSCENTRAL.COM). The record itself is looking very original, but without a matrix no.

The book has 48 coloured pages, printed on semi glossy paper in high quality. It contains besides all lyrics a 4 pages band story and more than 60 band pictures. I think it has been made by a commercial illustrator, really well made and cool. Never seen again a thing like this! Please take a look at the pics below!

Notes:

1. This legendary 7" is a source of great confusion. The single was originally intended to be released on Plan 9 as PL1003. For unknown reasons (probably lack of funds), the idea was dropped. According to Glenn Danzig, the first acetate pressed was an "acetate master" with "Teenagers From Mars" on both sides. This copy went to George Germain. Glenn then had five special acetates made and distributed them as follows: 1 went to Glenn Danzig; 1 went to Jerry Only; 1 went to Max's Kansas City jukebox; 1 went to CBGB's jukebox; 1 went to George Germain. Several of the copies had a The Misfits logo pasted onto a generic, white paper sleeve with the song titles typed on. George Germain's copy did not. The Max's Kansas City copy supposedly turned up at a New York City record convention in 1987 and sold for around $200. Previously, it had sold at a record store named Golden Disc for under a dollar.

M Mint

Die Schallplatte und das Cover ist wie neuwertig oder wirklich neu

Record & Cover are like new or in deed new.

EX Excellent

Wenig Gebrauchsspuren, geringfügige Verschlechterung der Tonqualität. Das Cover ist geringfügig abgenutzt

Slightly Traces of Usage

VG Very Good

Kleine Kratzer bzw. leichtes Rauschen können vorkommen. Das Cover kann kleinere Beschädigungen haben (kleinere Knicke, leichte Einrisse, etwas Farbabrieb).

Slightly Scratches resp.slightly Crackles may occur, surface noise. Cover may have little damages but is still acceptable.

G Good

Die Platte hat an Qualität verloren. Hat starke Kratzer. Das Cover zeigt Beschädigungen.

Record has lost some Quality. Huge Scratches. Cover has some damages.

W Worn

It`s still possible to play the record BUT with huge lost of Quality. Deeper Scratches / Crackles. Covers are strongly damaged, torn or soiled.

F Fair

Hardly possible to play the record. Cover is in pieces or not complete. For completing your Collection or playing Frisbee ;-) .
