WITH A RAR MISSPRESSING-THE LABELS ARE THE 1st PRESS LABELS (WITH THE * FURTHER AWAY FROM THE RECORD TITLES) BUT ON A 2nd PRESSING SLAB OF VINYL....LOOK AT YOUR COPY TO SEE IF YOU TOO HAVE THIS....IT'S QUITE RARE AND UNUSUAL.
This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!

**WOW-I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ORIGINAL PRESS THIS WEIGHT**
VG. Lovely QUALITY weight!! There are only light marks to each side.
I have just played the WHOLE of the record, WITHOUT any skipping or jumping...Just a small amount of occasional background noise-more evident inbetween songs, with the light and occasional soft pop, that really was it!
A sure testiment to the quality of old original vinyl!
A professional clean would help and Bob's yer uncle-you've got a very nice blast from the past...In glorious MONO.
SUPER AUDIO PLAYBACK
Labels: VG. There are light spindle marks visible, with very little wear to the central holes.
"The Gramophone Co..." rim text as well as "Sold In U.K." text.
Very displayable.

RARER ERNEST J DAY COVER:
EJ DAY Cover-These covers were made at the height of popularity, to keep up with demand. It is estimated for every 10 Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves printed, there was just the 1 EJ Day cover printed...Making these considerably more rare than their counterpart.
This one is slightly rarer as it has the full 1st name:ERNEST J Day, rather than the later abreviated EJ Day.
There are just a few small crescents of spidering to the laminate-mainly near the opening-the corners remain strong with only some light rubbing: SOLID THROUGHOUT

Certainly done her job in looking after the vinyl over all these years.
All in all this would benefit from a gentle clean to suck the dust out of the grooves and then, I know, she'll be a lovely addition to anyones collection....Sounds GREAT,feels GREAT, looks GREAT!
