Description

An Ultra Rare 78rpm Single, With A Label Error. Buddy Holly & The Crickets - That'll Be The Day / I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love. 1957 - Coral / Vogue Records (Number Q.72279).
Here we have a very rare record. In fact, I have never seen another one like it! This classic record can be hard to get hold of at the best of times, but this one is very special. There are two different label versions for this release. One has the Coral label, while the other has a Vogue label. This particular record has both! The 'That'll be the day' side has a Vogue label, while the 'I'm lookin' for someone to love' side has a Coral label! I have compared it to many other Q.72279 records, and it is the only one that I have ever found that has this mistake.
I'm not sure how to grade records properly, but the record seems to play smoothly on both sides with no jumps. It looks to be in good condition and there are no chips or cracks. Obviously, due to the age there are surface scratches. Please remember that it is 62 years old, see the photos as a guide.
